As of March 2020 in the State of Utah, individuals with a medical recommendation letter from an approved medical provider such as Dr. Holland of Holland Holistic can apply for their Medical Cannabis Card, which will allow them to legally purchase medical marijuana from one of the state’s approved pharmacies.
The first of these pharmacies, Dragonfly, opened today.
If you have your medical recommendation letter, and would like to apply for your Medical Cannabis Card, simply follow these directions:
The general outline of the application process AFTER YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR MEDICAL RECOMMENDATION LETTER FROM HOLLAND HOLISTIC is below:
Apply as a patient on the website by making an account on the EVS system (click here)
The state will alert us at Holland Holistic, and we will attach certification
Then submit application, pay $15
Once submitted, the state will review application for approval. We have not been given a timetable for approval, but are checking the information daily and you can check the status of application by logging in anytime
Once approved, can print your card at home. Be sure to add any Caregivers to your profile in the ‘Caregiver’ page such as Home Health Aids, etc. The caregiver will be asked to create an EVS account if they do not have one.
